AX-600Overview
The AX-600 is a full-featured anaesthesia workstation for busy main theatres and referral hospitals. Its 12.1-inch touchscreen rotates in four directions, so anaesthetists of different heights can read and operate it from wherever they stand at the head of the table. The ventilator covers adult, paediatric and neonatal patients, with tidal volumes from 20 ml to 1500 ml at 4 to 100 breaths per minute, in volume-controlled, pressure-controlled and pressure-support modes.
Anaesthetic gas, EtCO2 and BIS monitoring are added as plug-and-play modules that can be shared with compatible patient monitors. The breathing system is autoclavable with a leak rate of 65 ml/min, PEEP supports lung-protective ventilation, and large rotating, lockable drawers keep syringes and monitoring accessories within reach. A central brake system is available as an option.
Medix East Africa supplies the AX600 Anaesthesia Machine with pre-installation site assessment, delivery, installation and commissioning by our own biomedical engineers, and acceptance testing before handover. Operator training is delivered to the staff who will use it day to day, and technical training is available for your biomedical department.
After handover we hold genuine spare parts for the equipment we supply, run preventive maintenance under annual contract, and respond to faults across Kenya and the wider East African region.
