FUS-3000 Plus Urinalysis Analyzer

The FUS-3000 Plus is a hybrid urinalysis system that runs urine chemistry and urine sediment on one instrument from one tube. Formed elements are counted and photographed by flow imaging, reporting 25 parameters: red cells with sub-classes that help trace the source of haematuria, white cells and clumps, epithelial cells, pathological casts, crystals, yeasts, bacteria, sperm and mucus. Chemistry strips read 14 parameters by photoelectric colorimetry, with vitamin C, microalbumin, creatinine and calcium as options, and conductivity, specific gravity, colour and turbidity can be added as physical parameters.

Throughput is 120 tests per hour in hybrid or sediment mode and 240 per hour for chemistry only. The loader holds 50 samples, or 270 with the pre-storage and reclaiming tray, and there is a STAT position. An internal barcode reader, memory for at least 100,000 results and bidirectional LIS/HIS connection remove manual transcription, and the analyzer flags possible urinary tract infection from the combined bacteria, white cell, red cell and chemistry results.
