Manual Dialysis Chair

Manual reclining dialysis chair for adults, with adjustable backrest, leg rest and armrests and an IV pole.

Manual Dialysis Chair

Overview

This manual dialysis chair is built for adults who sit through three to four hours of haemodialysis several times a week, where comfort and quick repositioning both matter. The backrest and leg rest are adjusted with manual controls that need no power supply, so the chair keeps working through outages and can be placed anywhere in the unit. The chair moves between upright, reclined and leg-raised positions to suit cannulation, treatment and recovery, and the armrests adjust to hold the access arm steady and level through the session.

An adjustable headrest supports the head and neck in every position, which helps patients who sleep during treatment. Contoured, cushioned upholstery spreads pressure over long sessions and wipes clean between patients, and the IV pole mounts on the chair for saline and medication lines. The chair rolls on castors, so it can be moved for cleaning or turned to the machine.

Medix East Africa supplies the Manual Dialysis Chair with pre-installation site assessment, delivery, installation and commissioning by our own biomedical engineers, and acceptance testing before handover. Operator training is delivered to the staff who will use it day to day, and technical training is available for your biomedical department.

After handover we hold genuine spare parts for the equipment we supply, run preventive maintenance under annual contract, and respond to faults across Kenya and the wider East African region. Pricing is issued by formal quotation, because it depends on configuration, quantity, delivery terms and warranty.
